Rotterdam begins expansion for methanol and ethanol facilities
Evos has begun a major expansion of its methanol and ethanol storage facilities at the Port of Rotterdam, aiming to add five new storage tanks with a combined capacity of 67,500 m³, along with a new pump station.
The expansion will allow Evos Rotterdam to increase handling of methanol and ethanol for both traditional industrial uses and the growing market for cleaner marine fuels. In parallel, the Port of Rotterdam Authority will construct a new jetty and supporting quay infrastructure to facilitate operations.
