Furetank to add biomethane-capable tanker to its fleet
Furetank is set to add the FURE VASA, an alternative-fuel tanker capable of operating primarily on liquefied biomethane, to the Swedish-flagged merchant fleet.
The vessel is the 18th tanker in Furetank’s VINGA series, developed in collaboration with Swedish ship designer FKAB Marine Design. The series is designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions through energy-efficient vessel technology and alternative propulsion.
