Company to trial B24 biofuel on RoRo vessel
Kinkai Yusen, a subsidiary of NYK Group, has announced that is preparing to carry out a biofuel demonstration voyage on its roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) vessel Nanotsu.
The vessel is scheduled to bunker B24 biofuel at Hakata Port on 16 June before entering regular service on its route between Hakata and Tsuruga, according to the company. As explained, the fuel blend consists of 24% biofuel mixed with conventional marine fuel.
