Klaipėda set to advance operations with new methanol bunkering vessel
Western Baltic Engineering has introduced a concept design for a green methanol bunkering vessel developed to support the operational needs of the Port of Klaipėda, marking another step in advancing cleaner maritime operations.
Designed for flexible deployment in shallow waters and local bunkering routes, the vessel features an 800-metric-tonne green methanol capacity and has the potential to supply up to 250,000 metric tons of fuel annually. The project represents the company’s first concept dedicated exclusively to green methanol bunkering, expanding its portfolio of alternative-fuel vessel solutions.
