Hong Kong completes its largest green methanol bunkering to date
Venture Energy Limited (Venture Energy) has completed Hong Kong’s largest single green methanol bunkering operation to date, supplying 1,000 tonnes of green methanol to a RoRo vessel operated by China Merchants Shenzhen Shipping Company Ltd. (CM Shenzhen).
The operation was carried out by bunkering barge Da Qing 268 and involved green methanol produced by Shanghai Shenji Energy & Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenji Energy), an affiliate of Shenergy Group. Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited (Sinopec HK) also supported the operation, with Venture Energy coordinating the delivery to Hong Kong’s bunkering market.
