OOCL conducts fist methanol bunkering of its new dual-fuel container ship
Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) has marked a milestone in its decarbonization strategy with the first green methanol bunkering of OOCL Wisdom, its first methanol dual-fuel container ship.
Following the bunkering operation at Qingdao Port on 3 July, the vessel departed on its maiden voyage to Europe, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding a lower-carbon fleet. OOCL Wisdom is the first of seven methanol dual-fuel container vessels being introduced by the carrier.
